"It has been about a year since I’ve seen Dr . Kodori as I was sent by a general surgeon just to play it safe but this situation stays with me daily. At 22 years old this doctor had me get a PET scan AFTER a negative biopsy, normal bloodwork AND her herself stating I did not have cancer. Being educated now, a biopsy is the only way to diagnose cancer. So why after my biopsy was negative she had me do a full pet scan I’m not sure. When I questioned if I could just have another MRI since the first mri showed lymphadenopathy just to see if the lymph nodes went down she proceeded to say “an MRI has more radiation then a CT scan” and insisted I do the PET scan instead of an MRI. If I knew then, what I know now I would have refused. So I am writing this post because of the medical negligence of putting a young, otherwise healthy female through full body radiation when it was clearly not needed based off of a biopsy and health history. Just for it to be an inflammatory process my body was experiencing. So please, go with your gut. It is proven CT scans like a PET scans have large amounts of radiation. MRI is magnetic imaging. Always question the doctor and do your own research. I would never recommended this doctor"
