I transferred in to their practice in the middle of my pregnancy after moving from out of state and they made the transition seamless and positive. I could not be more grateful for all of the staff at Coastal, especially the midwife on call during my delivery. She truly made it a beautiful, safe experience for myself and my family with her expertise, care, knowledge and compassion."

"I used to like going to Coastal Ob-gyn and midwifery far as woman needs. Now I feel very uncomfortable with the fact I have no other choice to go see one of their Ob-gyn doctor's even when it's the "time of month" No woman should be very uncomfortable or even forced to have a female an examination when it's Thier "time of the month"."

"I'm a little confused by the negative reviews because I've had a wonderful experience with Coastal. Every doctor and midwife I saw was very kind and cared about what I was going through. Even the front desk staff was always kind and welcoming to me. Leigh Ann was the midwife on call when I delivered and I am so happy she was. I absolutely love Leigh Ann. I was terrified to give birth and about being induced and she made the whole experience very positive for me. She was very kind and has such a calming energy. She didn't do anything without my consent first, which I really appreciated. If we decide to have another baby, I hope I'm lucky enough to have her in the delivery room again. Would definitely recommend Coastal to anyone looking for a great place to go!"

"My experience with costal just seems to get worse everytime. They sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy and refused to send it to the correct one meaning I'll have to pay more for it. *update* after multiple phone calls they agreed to ask the nurse if she'd be willing to send the prescription to the right place. They were incredibly rude and uninterested in helping me like they always are. You have to literally badger them to get the most basic of things done. If you don't want to help patients, maybe pick a new career. Giving birth with them was awful. Thier partner doctor at L&M is dangerous, with his incompetence and inability to take accountability I'm surprised he hasn't killed somebody yet. Overall, they just don't care about thier patients and you should go elsewhere."

"I moved to CT 34 weeks pregnant and to say that I was stressed was an understatement. I was able to get in immediately with Coastal OBGYN. With the exception of one one appt, I had a great experience for follow ups. I had an induction scheduled and went into spontaneous labor a few days before. Sherene was the midwife on call, and I was really hoping she would be. She has such a calming energy, which was extremely important to me. My labor experience was much different than I imagined, but I really appreciate that she respected my birth plan and let me go to the very end until it was medically necessary to intervene. Thanks to her my son is healthy and I didn’t need to recover from a premature c-section. I had my 6 week follow up with her as well and I was understandably cautious at such a vulnerable time and she made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be back if and when I’m pregnant again."
