"Usually good for pitstop coffee etc. Today [2 pm Sat May 20] was another story - one of the two severs refused to make any hot food as they were understaffed. Okay fine, but he also informed me that it was not his problem to refund me for my order just billed to my cc?! I have taken this up with DD corporate as around a dozen people were impacted by this bizarre incident."

"It was great. I never seen a Dunkin like that one. The food was wonderful and so was everything about the place. Even though it was in Connecticut and I'm in North Carolina if I travel that way again I'm definitely stopping by there again !!!!"

"Update - stopped for coffee and donut on July 19. Location not busy. Waited at counter for 2 min while employee less than 2 feet away prepared other orders. Was told eventually that I needed to use DD automated kiosk to order. Placed order after another two min of menu searches. Employee then read out the order. Without any acknowledgment the order was delivered to another pick up window. When I asked about my order I was told that it was waiting in another window. Please please can the staff show some empathy for customers who do not know the exact procedure for every order. This is a terrible process for quiet periods. Management should ensure staff are Properly trained in greeting Customers. Service downgraded to one star. Kudos to CDOT for the time and money spent on recent renovations for this rest area and for the whole of the Merritt Parkway! You do the people of Connecticut proud in creating a welcoming environment for travelers. Coffee and food are good and as expected. The challenge is staffing at this location. There is a Hispanic woman on duty, working alone, and she is visibly stressed in dealing with a large number of customers. The customers are mainly polite, but frustrated, because of the difficulty in communicating with the order taker. The staff member is trying her very best, but it’s difficult for her without a good command of English. I recommend management review more closely staffing requirements at this location and ensure that there are at least two people on duty at all times. This is a busy rest stop and there is competition in this location with options in the shop just on one side and a Subway shop on the other side, so this is a location that is not monopolistic and needs to be managed more carefully. (I am committed to living a diverse life. In this case, I think it is unfair to have this worker working on her own with all of the questions coming from customers as well as requirements to dispense food and drinks. There should be better supervision certainly at busy locations.)"

"Never ever again. Cold hasbrowns & sourdough that could chip your tooth. The guy got upset with me for squished has browns... how about serving a real order of hashbrowns, not 4 or 5, that have actually been heated correctly so I don't have to check if they were thoroughly heated. Dunkin' has gone downhill & this location will prove it to you (as I suffer through the rock-hard sour dough - no croissants or bagels available)"

"bad attention to people, offensive language. When I had already been waiting for a donut for about 20 minutes and had only received my coffee, I asked if they could complete my order, the person did angrily address me, saying that I had to wait. then I wait 15 more minutes, just for a donut. I do not recommend this place. This scene had already observed that it was repeated with more people. mobile one station, the first entering Connecticut from New York."
