"Ran in hoping to get an Italian cookie platter. Had my choice of a 2 or 3 pound platter. Of course I got the 3 pounder. Also got 2 really cute turkey cake pops. Always a great selection of everything! It is great not having to drive to Hartford. It was crowded but so aren't the bakeries in Hartford. The staff is awesome."

"After this third time, I will no longer be coming to this bakery. I was trying to give it one more try after an incredibly disappointing visit last time. It was a little busy but very clear that the woman who took care of us had no care whatsoever in how she treated customers. She was very rude, very unhelpful and didn't seem to even want to be there. There's also no signage for anything. No prices, no names of products, no allergy warnings. They could just arbitrarily change the prices if they like/don't like you. The pastries here are mediocre too. Tiramisu is boring and bland with very little coffee flavor, the lobster tails are so crunchy it's like chewing on glass, and the Italian cookies are all exceptionally bland and dry. Take the trip to Mozzicato Depasquale instead, which is what I will be doing from now on."

"Can’t say enough great things about this bakery. My husband and I had an elopement back in April and decided to walk in to Giuseppina’s to see if they would make us a simple little cake. First off, they did it with no hesitation and it was perfect. We loved the service and the cake so much we went back to have them do our cake for our actual wedding day on 6/17. The cake and cupcakes were beyond delicious and perfect. Everything went so smoothly and they accommodated us in every way. This bakery has everything you would want and more. Don’t go anywhere else but Giuseppina’s. Trust me, you won’t regret it."
