"If you’re looking for an “authentic French style bakery,” do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, as Brewster Pastry certainly misses the mark. While I can’t attest to any pies, cakes, or speciality orders, I have tried a few breakfast items from here and was left incredibly underwhelmed. On my most recent visit, I tried an almond croissant and a French vanilla cappuccino. I was hopeful about the baked goods, as the shop smells amazing, but the texture of the croissant was off. The outside was quite hard and the inside of the croissant tasted almost doughy and cake like, not flaky or moist. The staff doesn’t make your coffee for you either. There’s a table by the front entrance with a hospital style machine for you to brew your own cappuccino with. If you find yourself in need of a quality bakery, avoid Brewster Pastry and check out General Bakeshop a few miles further into town. You might pay a few extra dollars, but I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed."

"Amazing bagels and pastry! We were here on vacation and came here two mornings in a row. The everything bagel with cream cheese is SO good! The value is great! Also loved the peach cake and apple cider donuts. Little family run place, great service. Highly recommend."
