PM Pediatric Urgent Care

"The facility is very poorly run. I had made an appointment for 4 pm, but upon arrival, there were only 2 other kids waiting (not too many patients, really). However, I ended up waiting a full hour until 5 pm. I wanted to inquire about the wait time for my daughter's minor issue, which could have been handled by a nurse or nurse practitioner. Firstly, there was no one at the front desk, so I had to go inside and ask. The administrator requested that I step outside before addressing my query. Even after doing so, she didn't come out, so I had to raise my voice to get her attention. She informed me that we couldn't see a nurse or nurse practitioner if we want to use insurance, without attempting to resolve the issue. When I asked how much longer the wait would be, she simply replied, 'I can't tell you.' I then asked if she could at least inform us of how many patients were ahead of us, to which she responded, 'You will not be the next one.' Recognizing that I might need to wait another hour, I left the facility immediately. My advice: AVOID this place! Whether you have an appointment or walk in, they make you wait for hours. Asking questions only results in a barrage of excuses without direct answers."

"Awful experience. My 5 year old daughter was very sick and getting worse every minute. My appointment was scheduled for 7:20pm and my wife called in advance and advised the front desk staff that we will arrive early since my daughter is getting a lot worse and we can’t wait till 7:20pm. When we arrived at the clinic, we were sitting and waiting for an hour and forty minutes. My daughter threw up three times in the bathroom while we were waiting. When I approached the front desk staff to ask her if they will call us next , she replied that there are other people in front us in line that had an earlier appointment. I wasted almost 2 hours sitting and waiting for nothing and obviously my daughter got even worse!!! I had to take her to emergency room immediately! Thank you for waisting my time and putting my daughter’s life in danger!"

"The system of both walk-ins and appointments does not work. If you can’t get an appointment within a few hours and you decide to walk in (as I was advised to do by the front desk attendant), you can end up waiting for hours on end. 90 minutes later with a sick kid in the car, I asked for my money back and decided to go to a regular urgent care. This has happened to me TWICE with two kids. Do not go to this urgent care without an appointment. It should not be an option."

"I have been to this urgent care in the past but I recently went and was disappointed. The RN and the Doctor seemed nice at the beginning but shortly after were impatient and insensitive with my child. I understand that some children are a little more anxious than others but I didn’t like how they handled the situation. I tried asking the Doctor a question regarding my child and her answer was blunt followed by a shrug of the shoulders. Not professional at all. This urgent care in the past had very nice staff and Doctors. They did there best to make children and parents feel comfortable. But now it’s a different story. They are not working for free therefore the service they are offering which is for children should be more kind and welcoming. Next time the drive to another urgent does not seem so bad when your child feels more comfortable elsewhere."

"Dr. Oh was amazing: great bedside manner, quick, efficient, and thorough. The décor in the front was a little young for me, but I guess this is primarily a children's office. I absolutely adored the Disney photos in the exam room; calmed me even though I am in my 30s."
