MEDAS MOVING & OVERSEAS SHIPPING

"There is Not a Star that should be awarded to this Shipping Company. I have noticed that my wife's reviews are being deleted as a result I have decided to now input my own review. I was the One who took the Items/Stuffs to Medas Shipping in Bridgeport on 07/07/22 and I can also confirmed we paid via Zelle. I can further confirm that Medas Shipping has to this date of writing 08/27/22 not delieverd our Items to the Destination and word at the Destination is Customers items/stuffs are being held somewhere because of UNPAID bills by Medas and its affiliate. Why is Medas not responding to our Calls?"

"Will not be using Medas or recommend them for any shipping needs. Had barrels picked up May 17th with the understanding that the barrels would reach the destination close the same time as the recipient. Recipient reached the destination by May 28th. Recipient had not been able to get in touch with Medas and business was closed after various attempts to visit the location during posted business hours. Started making phone calls around the 20th of June and was not able to get in touch with someone until July 5th. Spoke to Cornelius who claimed the barrel should be at the destination already and I should be contacting them. After informing him that the receiving company had no information, he said he needed an hour to track down the barrels and after following up with him 2 hours later he said the voicemail of counterparts in Miami was full and he would have to to text them. He was able to provide tracking numbers for the barrels which was not listed on the invoice. Called to follow up with him Thursday July 7th to see if he was able to get in touch with his counterpart in Miami and of course the call when to voicemail and has yet to be returned. Ended up calling Lenmar myself only to discover the barrels reached Lenmar in Miami on June 23rd despite being picked up May 17. The website has an option to send a WhatsApp but don’t expect a timely response through that avenue. Received a response July 10th to a message sent June 22."

"On December 15, 2020, I used the services offered by this so-called shipping company. Today is May 10 2021, approximately five month ago and the shipment has not been delivered or returned. Moreover, it has become more and more challenging to recover the shipment or the value of same. I have made several unanswered calls and sent countless emails which I have had few responses apologizing and/or committing to resolve the issue. I have also submitted invoices as per request and in the last email response, he responded 'I am truly embarrassed over the situation and will reimburse the cost in weekly installments until the cost is covered'. I did not ask for this, it was offered as a solution. It is clear this shipping company do not even have insurance . All I want is the return/delivery of my shipment. I had also posted the experience prior and was reassured over two months ago it would be resolved (as per below) as I was asked to remove the feedback outlining my experience and it would be remedied. I am truly disappointed as I read the other reviews of good service which attracted me. Quite frankly, I was robbed by this company."
