"Jan and Sharlene have been excellent with my child! Their approach is child-led which means they earn the child's trust, but at the same time they also get buy-in which makes the children more willing to engage in activities that may be challenging for them. I have a very sensitive and fearful child and they adapted every activity for her, while also explaining everything they were doing so I could understand the process, but also replicate these activities and interactions at home. I was truly impressed with the connection both therapists were able to establish with my child, which in turn improved my own connection with her as well as deepened my understanding of her. Forever grateful to Jan and Sharlene!"

"I recently had a wonderful experience at Spot On Therapy of Westchester. The OT specialist, Jan, and speech therapist, Charlene, were incredibly welcoming and made the sessions enjoyable for my son. The instructors were warm, informative, and made learning fun with various sensory and fine motor activities. My son thoroughly enjoyed the drop-in classes, which not only helped him develop essential skills but also made him excited to attend each session. I would highly recommend Spot On Therapy to anyone in need of similar services. The instructors' expertise and dedication truly shine through, making a positive impact on both the children and their families. The center provides a wide range of activities that cater to individual needs, ensuring a personalized approach."

"My son learned so many helpful skills from Jan and Sharlene to make meal times in our house so much more civilized. We started seeing results after the very first class; our son got home and was more interested in new foods and ate all my salad!"

"My son has been seeing Ms. Jan as his private OT for a year and half now. She is a friendly, caring and also very experienced occupational therapist whom my son and I adore. My son has global developmental delay and I wanted to find a therapist who can improve his fine motor skills. I had been looking for a good OT for a long time and tried sessions from a lot of therapists but no one was a good fit for him. Then one day, I remembered that my son had a GREAT OT from his pre-school and I reached out to her as my final straw. I knew she would be a great fit not only to him but also to me, and BINGO!!! She has used all of her skills to work on his fine motor skills and now my son can do a lot of things that he couldn’t do before. He is becoming more and more confident with what he does. He also has a hard time concentrating on his tasks but Ms. Jan’s long-time experience as a therapist with a lot of knowledge and cheerfulness are making it possible for him to sit on his chair almost an hour now during his session. One more thing I like about her is that she doesn’t force my son to do what he is supposed to do. She gives him space and breaks when he needs, but eventually she motivates him very well to do his work. Her experience makes it possible to take a quick shift how to proceed the session depending on my son’s motivation and mood of that day, she can be very flexible . Ms. Jan is also a very good counselor to the parents. She answers to all the questions I ask, thinks of the solutions together to the problems when they come up, and is always be there for us. She is always very positive, trying to figure out the way how to keep going and most of all, she LOVES what she does and very confident. I strongly recommend Ms. Jan as the occupational therapist."
