"I wanted to share my recent experience with a company that left me feeling dissatisfied. During the scheduled pick-up day, my area was hit with an unprecedented snowstorm, resulting in over 3 feet of snow. Understandably, it was extremely challenging for us to safely reach the company's location. Despite our best efforts, the weather conditions made it impossible for us to make it there. After explaining our situation to the company representative over the phone, we encountered some resistance and were given a hard time about retrieving our items. However, after much discussion, they reluctantly agreed to reschedule the pick-up for the following day, but with a strict requirement of being there exactly at nine o'clock. This posed a significant challenge for us, as we reside nearly 4 hours away from the company. At arrival at the company's location the next day, we were disappointed to find that there were six men present, who simply observed as my husband loaded up 14 pieces of furniture into our vehicle. I had inquired about the availability of manpower prior to our arrival, and the response I received was: "Bidders are responsible to provide the proper manpower to remove their items. Our Gallery team can help as long as it is only one or two pieces and it is safe for them to do so. However, they are not obligated to do so." This lack of assistance, even in lifting the couches, was disheartening. Based on this experience, I have decided not to continue doing business with this company in the future."
