"I went to this dollar store recently and I was extremely disappointed. I wanted to purchase 10 small glasses and they were $7 each!!! I spent about 20 minutes looking for something there that was actually a dollar and the only thing I found was a piece of candy. Ended up getting the same glasses from Walmart for $1.50 each."

"This is a great dollar store although it's one of those dollar stores where many things are not $1. Still, they have really good prices and a really great selection. They also do helium balloons here."

"Lots of stuff, some is name brand rather than just the typical discount store selection which is nice. Don't let the name fool you though, this is not a dollar store. In fact I think you'd be hard pressed to find something for only a dollar. That said, they probably have things you want and it's often my first stop for certain things."

"This used to be my wife's favorite dollar store. It's close by and though not everything is a dollar, but much more, my wife used to love this place. Today we were shopping and I picked up a sword for my son's costume, $6.99. A wallet for myself, $7.99. Some ear buds for an iPhone, $4.99. So, the prices are more than a dollar as the other reviewer indicates. However, the main reason I'm writing is my wife is a dialysis patient and she uses a cane, and what happened today I hope is not store policy. My wife hobbled off from her cane about 10 to 20 feet, enough so it was out of her sight. I saw a store worker pick it up and walk off with it up another isle. I had to check with my wife to see if she had her cane because I couldn't believe what I saw. She said she had put it down and was hobbling a bit but standing up against some boxes. So, I figured, perhaps she left it in the car and I went back to the car since I know she got into the car with the cane. Once I verified the cane was not in the car, I realized the cane the worker walked off with was indeed my wife's (and it doesn't look brand new... has a few nicks and scratches and pebbles in the rubber thing at the bottom). I spoke to the worker and said, did you see my wife's cane. He gives me a dumb stare. I then press him further saying I know I saw you walk off with a cane, can my wife have her cane back? He has to check with the cash register attendant to make sure it's ok! The kid is only about 16 so I have to give him a little credit for checking with his superior, but the effort I had to go through to get her cane back (which was now in the display area with other canes to be sold!) I am still dumbfounded, that an item misplaced by a customer was so easily picked up and put into the display area even though it clearly had no price tag. All I can say is be sure to watch your belongings in this store. I don't know if this is their policy or just a kid making a mistake on his first job, but his superior did not give me any indication that he was sorry. I won't be going back to this store for a very long time. We did not end up purchasing anything there today."
