"I personally have not had issue with the root Center. I do wish they had better dosing hours but ,ultimately they have been cordial and extremely professional with me. I would recommend them to others. Your recovery is what you make of it."

"i have been at this clinic for 4 years i go biweekly (covid bottles is once a month) and i love my counselor i have had 3 different counselors and my first was emily she amazing but she passed me off to a new counselor because i’m an “easy patient” then i had monica (she is no longer there) and now i have shannon and i love her i told he to please don’t transfer me because she doesn’t treat me like a piece of chewed gum stuck to you shoe and believes me when i tell her something. this new clinic is amazing so clean and more windows and more privacy also more parking and no horrible parking lot like the old clinic. i have been on methadone for 7 years and i would be dead without this medication and this clinic."

"This place did not help my daughter at all. There was no emotional support or compassion. If she was late by 4 minutes and was already in the building, they still wouldn’t give her her dose. The counselor was never available to her when she needed to reach out to someone. They only made it more difficult for her to remain on her treatment plan and then wasted no opportunity to report her every chance they got to DCF. The place is a joke, calling itself a treatment facility."

"This place was Hartford dispensery until ROOT took over ,has change for the WORST!!! Its been at least a couple of months they always have problems with the computers or with the staff. Every body that is there at 5:30am is because they have to go to work. They don't care if we get to our jobs on time they take the sweet time to open on the morning knowing that everybody that is there already is because it has to be at work By 6 am. Today3/1/21 i was there by 515am it was 550am and nobody was in . And isnt the first time , lately is happening every week . My suggestion is if you have to open by 530 be there by 5am so the clinic will be ready for the patients went they arrive. Hopefully the BIG BOSSES will see this reviews and do something about it!!!!! If you go to the same one write a reviews too so the more the better"

"Very sweet people. Im the youngest there and a school student who has to get up at the crack of dawn to come here every day.. they show me no signs of discrimination and lots of love. I've never been given a hard time, my counselor Emily is a beautiful person who treats me and everyone else I see her speak to with respect and the staff is genuinely sincere overall in relevance to making us feel like the human beings we are. The clients may get rowdy at times and there is a bit of action that goes on outside the building but you'll see that at every clinic and it is not often whatsoever compared to other places. I don't think I'd be as well off as I am today if it wasn't for the compassion and support I've received on a daily basis from the kind people at this clinic."
