"Needed a shop vac due to flooding. All boxes were open . Had customer service check the box said everything is in it when I got home. It was missing the drain cap and they said we’re closing now. We can’t help you too bad. just return it tomorrow we sell garbage here"
"Had to come back several times to cut plastic sheet. Over changed for the hole saw. Horrible customer service. Guy took reciept and said i never gave it to him and couldnt make returns and wont do store credit. I went back in line, manager laughed at me while telling me to leave and then guy finds reciept behind counter. Rude ignorant and short sighted employees/ manager. She laughed in my face while im out about $200 Will just go to bekerlee lumber across the street. I will try and take back or exchange all my kobalt tools and definitely not buy any more. Wow lowes way to loose an avid customer over pettiness."
"My experience so far with Lowe’s has been a disaster. Ordering blinds for a patio door and three other windows in my house should have been very easy and straightforward you would think. Having visited the store, I selected the blinds and paid a deposit. Lowe’s then send out an independent company to measure and the same company will install. Having validated the measurements with the third party….they then emailed to Lowe’s to order. The sales associate even revisited and clarified those measurements with the third party before ordering the blinds. All seemed to be good up to that point and I paid in full. Weeks passed and the blinds were finally delivered. A few weeks later….the installer arrived and after removing everything from the boxes, I was informed that all four windows were not correct…..Lowe’s had ordered the wrong size even after clarification. For almost a month I have blinds left by the side of each window and downstairs, boxes standing upright against a wall. Having tried multiple times to contact the sales associate, I finally get through to a person. I was very calm expressing my dissatisfaction and was told (you can pack up the blinds and bring them back to the store)……Lowe’s make the error but its my responsibility to repack and return the blinds to the store? At that point I stated my want was to have the blinds reordered and installed asap and the other blinds removed following the installation. The person on the other end of the phone assured me that that would be done immediately and would take about two weeks. Almost a month has passed and you guessed ….no word from Lowe’s……can’t get anyone on the phone that seem to knows anything about what action has been taken and it seems nothing exists in the system. Clearly no one cares or does what they state they are going to within the store. At this point I’m completely disgusted and dissatisfied and just want the company to come pick up the blinds and refund my money. I’m happy to go to another provider and hopefully will have a very different experience. Lowe’s have demonstrated and underlined the fact that they really don’t care about the customer. Lesson learned….. Update10/30/23 So Lowe’s reordered the blinds for me after the first fiasco. Weeks passed…..no communication or response to my emails. Out of the blue three boxes were delivered on Monday of last week. The installer arrived on Friday morning the 27th. He removed all three blinds from the boxes and a few minutes later professed all three blinds were still not cut to the correct size. I can’t believe we have done this exercise twice now and I still have blinds that don’t fit the windows. Top class job Lowe’s……please don’t bother sending the survey."
"My usual stop whenever I need to work on some house project. I do not recall a time where I could not find what I needed for my house. The staff is responsive and courteous. Lately I noticed some unmanned police vehicles stationed there making alarm sounds, letting people know they are there, I guess for protection purposes. I never felt uncomfortable there so I do not understand the reason for these vehicles being stationed there."
