"Went to the ER in Webster for my mother because of potential infection post surgery and we checked in 618pm and it’s currently past 11:00pm & we’re still waiting on blood work and cat scan results. While I understand it always takes forever at any ER I don’t appreciate when we push the call button because my mother has to use the bathroom, which the nurses instructed us to do so because she was hooked up to an IV and no one shows up for more than 5 mins. One staff member I walked up to was playing a game on her phone whereas the other staff members were standing around talking. I don’t get it! So I took it upon MYSELF to transfer the IV bag to one of IV pools on castors so she can roll it to the bathroom with her. I mean how hard was that and why is it that no other staff member behind the desk could have done that! They literally gave her an antibiotic for a UTI by so I’m sure they understand the urgent need to use the bathroom and prevent further pain and discomfort. I will not come here gain unless it truly is a dire need!! I gave a 2 star rating because the nurses that did assisted my mother were very friendly and attentive, just NO support when it came to the call button!"
"I only did 1 star because I wouldn’t be able to give a review, but I give this hospital -5. I had been seen at the ER for mental health reasons and the staff were very unethical and the hospitality was terrible. I asked to speak to the head nurse due to lack of treatment, and the head nurse named Erin was very cocky about how she was the head nurse and I requested to speak to someone above her and with a cocky attitude she claimed that “There’s no one above her” I asked for a corporate’s number she stated “That’s inappropriate and when I get out very arrogantly that I can Google the number myself” I was sent with from a bipolar manic episode. Upon arrival, I had a panic attack that was starting to put me into an asthma attack and they refused me a rescue inhaler because I hadn’t seen a doctor yet. They gave me an adevan to shut me up and made me wait 2.5 hours for Tylenol I asked for. I asked for my daily medication I take because I take my medication at night I was only given half of my medication and I feel as though because I fell asleep they didn’t think they needed to give me the rest. They were making it seem as though because I suffer a mental health condition that I was dumb. I am very intelligent despite the fact that I have bipolar DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL"
"Bad Bad Bad experience. Walked in at 230pm, was put in a hall on a stretcher. Sat there until 530, mind you, not one person (nurse) checked on me. I had to go to the nurses station twice to see if they forgot me. Radiology came to get me and said I was on the list but forgotten. Finally a resident dr. came to me, told me I had pneumonia and sent me on my way. When the nurse came to release me, she said I was dehydrated, it seems to me I could have had iv fluids while sitting there for 3.5 hours! Needless to say, never got that either! Never again!"
"I just have to say the psych wards here are phenomenal, I was actually suffering a lot. They were able to to bring me back to reality and I went to work. I’m back functioning properly! There was a kind people in one unit named ken, Jenna! These guys especially were really phenomenal people. They helped me through a lot, their enthusiasm helped me calm down when I was delusional, I was thinking people were against me. But I didn’t even know how great they were till they transferred me to another unit. Where I met the sweetest woman always with a smile named Marybeth! Her smile always made me feel safe when I was in a bad spot. Peter was a great asset to the team too. I saw him standing by and helping other patients but the gentleman also always graced me with a smile and positive words to keep me strong! Jen was a stern tuff guy, he was a strong soul you could definitely tell. But instead of being macho he had a great demeanor, positive and definitely cared about the work he was involved in. I understand these our hero’s they stand by day and night trying to have people heal and leave with a stronger better situation than they once had. Like remolding the person as the snake sheds skin and moves on with better epidermal layers like with all the work these people done for me I’m sure they will do for you. I needed god and then realized the essence of god was in the hearts of these lovely people since the begining. I leave with one more acknowledgement, DR. Dilauro the spearhead for this awesome team! This guy been keeping an eye on me and understood I was stable enough to work and im really appreciated. His observation was true I came out and got my new meds and im heading into the oblivion of tomorrow. I mention these names all as star players in my recovery. They didn’t hold me extra time and stuff and when I had negative episodes they were really respectful. The units for psych wards are all very lovely. I hope you guys find happiness from your recovery and want to thank all the team members checking up on me and taking care of me even when I was a negative jerk. You guys really came through. The security guards even treated me with respect when I was acting up and they didn’t hold that against me they took my word and gave me my freedom after the section. Anyways I really appreciate everything. From all the great members, sorry for my troubles, but I really feel fine I’m a mess and you didn’t make feel any type a way besides healthy. God bless this hospital and look out for those awesome peeps. Thanks for reading goodluck stay healthy! That’s me down there ready for tomorrow for work Ty"
"This place is terrible for behavioral health patients and their families idk who the big blonde nurse is that decided to speak to us as if we were patients or children but I genuinely hope she receives everything she puts out. Her energy is absolutely repulsive . If she can speak to visitors the way she did in such a demeaning and accusatory manner I can only imagine the care or lack there of the patients are getting under her watch. Her name wasn’t important enough for me to ask for . If you have loved ones in this facility especially that department please check on them!!"
