"On arrival the signs did not match Google maps, although the gates were still open so rather than turning around we went though, I figured we could loop back as it's a one way. The house was fascinating but very eerie for some reason. We had some heavy vibes coming on, due to the short time we were there I must say the house and greenhouse were the most fascinating but that's all we had time to view, because we did not want to risk being locked in. We didn't walk any trails but this place was quite the pretty drive through. There is a big parking lot and lots of signs indicating you're being watched by various cameras. And it's free to visit. I recommend it!"

"This place is def worth the visit! There's the holocaust museum, picnic area, graffiti walls to look at and a short trail that leads to the beach. The only reason it isn't a 5 star review is because there are no bathrooms here!"

"Super fun hike down to the beach and then back through the woods. Going in, we knew there were crumbling buildings on the property, but what we didn't know was where they were. We treated our trip there like a treasure hunt and were able to "discover" some hidden, dilapidated and overgrown structures. Looking forward to going back to look for more surprises!"

"A beautiful and peaceful place. Quiet trails that take you through woods, marshes and out to Long Island Sound. On the grounds of the Holocaust Museum. Dogs not allowed but many people ignore that, so be prepared if you are a runner!"

"I loved it here. Amazing nature with so much life. Great trails, holocaust memorial museum and garden , abandoned green house, and sand beach, field, etc. Highly recommend. So many rabbits, butterflies, chipmunks, birds, etc. Overall very nice trails and a beautiful, small pebble beach overlooking the LI Sound near the trail. Welwyn Preserve is truly a gem. Parking lot available to park. One star out because their was no restroom available... and i searched. There should be public restrooms here... the Only restroom I saw is for the holocaust memorial building visitors."
