St. James School

"Our family moved to Stratford from MA 10 days before our eldest son started Kindergarten. The transition occurred without a hitch for my son, and I owe it all to the loving embrace of the Saint James Community, in particular, the teachers and the wonderful families that attend this school. We have been welcomed into a school community that nurtures our sons academically, emotionally, and spiritually--the Christ-like behavior and the values the boys have learned, as well as, the special friends we have made make me proud to be a part of this great school. In the past 2 1/2 years since our move to CT, Saint James has become our new family...we look forward to watching our boys do great things here...for themselves, their teachers and fellow students, and their community. They will undoubtedly touch many more lives as they take these Christ-like values into adulthood. I know this because I have met many Saint James students and alumni who are doing just that. "We recently moved back to Stratford after being gone for 11 years. Moving back we knew that there was no other school for us but St James. I am an alum of St. James and wanted my kids to have the same nurturing education that my siblings and I had. From the first day of school I felt like I immediately was part of the St James family. Having moved our oldest from a public school to a Catholic school I can tell you that the environment is very different. I wanted a school that would nurture my child's mind and soul and that is what we are getting. I highly recommend St James to any parent Pre-k through 8th grade."
