About the Business

Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park at Tarrytown

Located at 250 West Main Street in Tarrytown, New York, the Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park offers a stunning waterfront experience with views of the Manhattan skyline. This 5.2-acre park was created through a partnership between Scenic Hudson, the village, county, and developer Natural RE/sources, transforming an old asphalt plant into a beautiful public space. Visitors can enjoy a riverside esplanade, grass terraces, lawns, and an eco-corridor filled with native plants. The park is part of the county's planned 51-mile RiverWalk and is adjacent to Tarrytown's Pierson Park.

In addition to the natural beauty of the park, visitors can explore Tarrytown's vibrant downtown with its variety of restaurants and shops. The Tarrytown Music Hall, which hosts a range of international performers, is a popular attraction in the area. Nearby, Rockefeller State Park Preserve offers 45 miles of carriage roads winding through picturesque pastoral scenery.

Since 1963, the Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park has been connecting people with the inspirational power of the Hudson River, providing a peaceful and scenic retreat for locals and tourists alike.

"Stunning Park I have visited the other side many times and I never got to see this side. It’s probably better at Sunset. Still really great place to go for sunrise. The pets are skateable, and there are plenty of docs to step out on to get a better view of the lower Hudson."

"I stopped here with my family while in town. Great scenic view of the Hudson River. There was a walk path and benches to sit. Community members were friendly and welcoming. There are educational stations of historic information, English and Spanish. There are picnic tables available to sit for a picnic, snack or treat. The park has a children’s playground and splash water park. Park is cleaned and is a great place to relax and enjoy family time."
