"My favourite place in town. The view is unmatched, the park nice and clean and the playground is well kept. Keep an eye out for bald eagles and ospreys, both can occasionally be seen here, the bald eagles have a nest on the Middle Ground Flats. Also you can watch the boat launch with all the involuntary comedy involved and in the evenings the sun sets over the Catskills."

"I couldn't get enough of looking at the Hudson river. This was one view in a park at the end of a long stretch of shopping and restaurants. A nice way to start or stop the tour of Hudson. There are benches. I didn't see any public restrooms. Free parking on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise bring quarters."
