"I love this store! Everything is reasonably priced, especially considering how nicely it's curated. No wonder it's already beloved by college/h.s. students and adults alike! The first time I visited, I only meant to take a quick look see, but ended up purchasing a vintage flannel in a color I've long been searching for, and a men's work shirt in a gorgeous indigo, with the perfect fit. Also, a cool silk neck scarf. The next time, I found a beautiful necklace that I just had to have. I'm looking forward to delving into the furniture and gift type of stuff. It's a really nice addition to "the shire.""

Lydia, one of the owners, is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My daughter and I stopped in for the grand opening at the beginning of the summer and have been back several times, never leaving empty-handed. Prices are so reasonable. And everything is high-quality. West by East is a fantastic addition to the Great Barrington shopping scene."

"Has a very impressive selection, but incredibly overpriced, you can tell its for people who dont know the worth of what they are buying. they charge tax on clothing while there is no tax on clothing in massachusetts. Overall just seems like they have a lot of kinks to work out before youd want to support them. Very much a tourist run business and I doubt theyll last through winter because of how ridiculously high the prices are on clothing that isnt worth it to someone who doesnt fall for tricks."
