"NYFA is not just a fencing club. It is a family. We joined NYFA three years ago after struggling to find a coach who could unlock my daughter's potential. This was the best decision we made. Sergei is an amazing mentor and a role model for the students and parents. When my daughter decided to get recruited on the fencing team in college, Sergei dedicated his time to recording a video for my daughter to send to the head coaches. He guided us step by step in the recruiting process. Sergei's passion and care led my daughter to achieve the goals she thought were unreachable. She got recruited on the fencing team in the college of her dreams. Sergei, Misha, Slava, Stefano, and other NYFA coaches work as a team to train, coach, and support their students in the club, on the strip, and after they go to college.
