"Plus One is a fantastic dojo with awesome, caring instructors. I trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu there for a couple years (before moving out of the area). Darin, Marlene, and the other instructors create a safe environment, and make their classes challenging, fun, and engaging. The dojo is cleaned thoroughly and often. Hygiene is emphasized regularly. Becoming a member gives you unlimited access to a very full schedule of classes, across many different styles of martial arts. There is a women’s-only BJJ class, in addition to the regular BJJ classes. As a woman, I felt very safe and respected there, even though I was sometimes the only female in class. The youth classes have amazing instructors too. Thanks Plus One! I will miss you all!"

"What an excellent gym! My coworker and I were visiting the area for a work trip and we asked the owner to drop in for the morning class and everyone was incredible. The people were very friendly, and welcoming. The professor leading the class gave great instruction and even gave some additional details later on. As a woman who travels a lot for work, it is always refreshing to find a female friendly gym that is so welcoming and knowledgeable."

"10/10 Plus One is hands down, the best gym in the area. Ive been training here for just under a year but I’ve trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at other places and they don’t come close to the quality program, facility, or community that Plus One has. Darin, the owner cares deeply about his gym and his people; This is reflected in what he and his team deliver! I believe there are a couple things that make Plus One Stand Out. 1. PRICE - The gym is totally affordable and there is a single membership fee. With that fee you get access to the wide variety of martial arts classes, all which have top notch instructors. Additionally, you get access to the gym / weight room, open mats, and showers! Side Note: Everything is always clean! 2. COMMUNITY - As a woman, training martial arts and be intimidating at best and dangerous at worst. The instructors reinforce respect and safety no matter who you are working with. Additionally, there is a friendly feel on the mats yet there is plenty of opportunity for competition and challenges. Overall, I am SO happy to be a member at Plus One and highly recommend the gym for anyone interested!"
