"Contacted Gus pools (along with a few other local installers) last spring to go over and design a pool for a limited space in my backyard. Pete (owner) came to my house and spent several hours looking over my backyard and discussing any concerns or questions I had. I never felt rushed or pressured during the entire time. We came to a great layout for the space and agreed to move forward with an expected break ground date of February 22. He contacted me in October of 21 and said he had an early opening and if it suits me he can get the pool installed before the winter. I agreed, 2 weeks later my pool was installed up and running! Pat (Pete's brother and owner) just came back a few weeks ago to open the pool, run the pool and spent another several hours with me to go over the entire system with me from salt generator, phone app, to pump valves etc. He insisted I video tape it so there was no confusion and assured me if I had any questions and I can always email him and he would respond right away. A few days ago I had a concern about my water levels and spa pump so I emailed him and within a few hrs he called me back to walk thru everything with me (turned out nothing was wrong). I cannot stress this enough...the customer service provided by Pete and Pat at Gus pools is something you rarely see anymore with companies. From the first day of my appointment to go over the layout, up until a few days ago, the customer service has been incredible! Pete/Pat thank you again, me and my wife are extremely happy and you made an experience like this easy. I will be referring all my friends and family to you!"

"I live in modest house in Brooklyn with a modest backyard 30x40. I wanted a semi-inground pool for my kids to enjoy. Just a simple pool assembled and dug down into my dirt backyard. I started doing a ton of research and accidentally (Just Googling "Brooklyn semi-inground pools" it's not easy to find Gus Pools, I guess because he's in Queens, near Nassau) and luckily came across Gus Pools and Pete (son of Gus). The short story is I was nervous being a lifelong Brooklynite and trusting anyone with that kind of job and money. From Bonnie in the office who communicated clearly, to Pete, the owner who oversaw the entire job on site and got his hands dirty with his seasoned crew when needed, they installed my pool with no issues in two days. No hidden costs and in fact surprised me with extras I totally didn't expect. Pool is great, really can't believe I own one now, and I totally feel like I paid a fair price. Highly recommend Gus Pools."
