"A small park with a few dilapidated picnic tables that offer a scenic view of the large pond. A good place to enjoy a lunch with a friend. Especially if that friend has 4 paws and a wagging tail."

"Been going to this park for the last 2 years and tried the row boat rentals for the first time. The gentleman was really polite and helpful. $12 an hour, really great place for beginners"

"Quiet, peaceful and quaint. Lovely spot for a date or a family outing. There are picnic tables strewn about as well as a few barbecue pits. There's a real bathroom too. No swimming, but you can fish if you have a license. Plus you can rent a row boat for 10 bucks an hour."

"Little pond, couple picknik tables, a small dock, and a number of fire pits make up this park. But for its size, there is a lot here. Solid fishing, an attractive view in all seasons, seasonal rowboats and the ability to keep a fire going all day. It's worth a trip, and coming up from the south offers an attractive and enjoyable drive."
