"Pick another school. Bathrooms are flooded with vaping. 90% of the students smoke weed. Some to worse. Administration is strict about small things and couldnt care less about actual problems. Avoid here"

"I graduated from this school in 2014 and wanted to give my honest opinion. The school itself is good looking with a nice library and gymnasium. The auditorium is beautiful as well and hosts a variety of plays and other events. Extra-curricular activities are both popular and well organized. Those are the good parts. However, the staff leaves something to be desired. There were some teachers who I absolutely loved, but many I despised as well. You could tell some of them really didn't want to be there. The counselors are only concerned with making sure you graduate and make them look good. I know one in particular who would advise failing students to "drop out and join the military," I'm guessing to keep them out of his hair. Drugs are a huge problem here. Almost everybody who attends smokes marijuana and many do a lot worse. It is a breeding ground for irresponsible and immature children who will not be prepared for the real world when they leave. Overall, the school has its good points but also plenty of bad. Honestly, the best part about Agawam High School is the option to attend Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative instead, and plenty of alumni will agree with me."
