"We just LOVE Stepney! We have 2 children, one with a serious global disability and one that is typical but gifted. It was important to us to have our children at the same school. Which is a tall order with them having such different needs. Stepney has been great for both! They treat my special needs child like a celebrity, everyone knows her and the staff go out of their way to say hi and give her hi-fives. They have enrichment programs for my gifted child and enter them in nationally ranked math competitions to keep them motivated in learning. The community is warm and welcoming to all! It's just a wonderful place to raise a family."

The teachers are excellent, support staff amazing, and the administration kind and helpful under the warm and masterful care of Principal Lazar. We find Stepney's curriculum approach far superior here. The community is engaged, PTO highly active and children vastly more respectful in Monroe. Never once questioned our decision to leave the coast and move to this quaint inland town we call home."
