"All delivery drivers and service technicians go above and beyond their call of duty. On Friday February 2, 2024 driver # 70 , Jake delivered heating oil to 21 Avon Street, Manchester, Connecticut. Jake was very polite, courteous, friendly and met or exceeded my expectations. When I called the HOP Energy office a team member answered named Natasha. She was very polite, courteous, friendly and met or exceeded my expectations. Natasha also had good sense of humor which I like in employees. I look forward to dealing with employees like Jake and Natasha in the future. Thank you Joseph Marques"

"My current price cap contract for heating oil with HOP just expired. The moment it did, HOP immediately increased the price to $5 a gallon, when the median in CT is about $3.60, and pretty much what they charged me in my last price capped delivery (noting that the price cap was $4.99). They price gouge you so that you go into another contract where the change 45 cents per gallon up front to ‘protect’ you, which is dishonest. Dominick Fuel, my original provider was great and always acted ethically. Since HOP bought them it all about making money, and not in the right way. They still have an $800 open invoice in my account for a service that was never performed (and after months of saying they would fix it). It is shame because se they have some fantastic technicians. Have had enough and will be switching providers (at this point just about anyone else is better) Stay away from HOP and save yourself a lot of grief! FOLLOW UP FROM HOP ENERGY COMMENT BELOW: This is NOT in the process of being resolved. I called and no one could help me. They said they would call back. NO ONE has. Stand by my comments above."

"I had an emergency no heat call last week. Knew it wasn't lack of oil, but that's all I knew. Not being technical, I usually check the heat in one of two ways- either I feel warm, or I put my bare foot on the registers on my floor. I check the register and nothing was coming out- not cold or warm air. The first technician came later on the day I called for service, but didn't have the part on the truck, though he made several attempts to get the problem fixed. I slept under my electric blanket that night to stay warm. The next morning, bright and early, the second technician had found the part, brought it with him and it was repaired within a few hours. Turned out my blower had died. I had excellent service, skilled service technicians and they solved my problem as soon possible that same day. I am very happy that's it's warm in the house and that the technicians hired by HOP Energy are skilled and experienced and were able to resolve my problem as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thanks to all of you."

"My most recent direct interaction was for our annual maintenance. Mike is an excellent technician. I had requested him. I appreciate his tips and explanations and the continuity of someone familiar with the system. He is personable, very neat and called when he was about 30 minutes away. Thank you Mike! The customer service representatives have always been very helpful and oil delivery has gone smoothly. Thank you everyone!"

"I am very happy to find HOP energy to serve our oil heat unit which is not working on December 29, 2023. The young lady on the phone was very pleasant, helpful and get a service tech to take care our heating in three hours and cost us less than other companies I contacted before.
