"Called triple A because of a flat. These guys were able to help me and were patient when I was panicking because I had my little one with me. Didn’t overcharge me like I thought and was so nice to go over things as well and I was able to pick up my vehicle before they closed at 10pm. I live locally and I would say I am going back to them."

"I am from NY city... two Sunday's ago, my car broke down on my way to MIllbrook (about 2 hrs from my home). Lakeside Service station towed my car off the Taconic (restricted roadway), even though I had AAA - state Troopers called this company, as it is a restricted road, only a few towing companies have permission to tow your car on that road. Anyhow, they offered to look at the car and call me the next day to tell me what was wrong with the car- to see if I wanted them to fix it. Well- by 2pm the next day, i called to find out what happened- because I never received a call. When I spoke to the mechanic, he was rude and unhelpful. I had to interview him about my car because he wasnt just offering up information. I told him- thanks for looking at the car, but dont repair it. I will pay for the tow and the labor and have it towed back to the city and have my guy look at it. He said sarcastic and had a snappy tone and I told him about it. He denied he was being nasty. We both said fine, then we hung up the phone. less than 15 minutes later- miraculously- he knows what is wrong with the car- they said it was a faulty part- told me they replaced the part and they would test drive it, and I could pick it up tomorrow. My husband picks up the car the next day- they charged us $500 ($150 for a 15 min tow, and $300 for the part and the labor). My husband drives the car on the Taconic- he goes about 16 miles and guess what? the car breaks down again. I called the mechanic to tell him he fixed the symptom but not the cause. He rudely disputed my claim and told me they did fix the car because it wasnt starting before and they made the car start. he referred me to another company who they said "had the warranty" on the part he replaced and then hung up. Taking no responsibility for not fixing my car and charging me $500 in a pandemic! Disgusting service. I would NEVER ever go to this place again. the only way I would do buisness with them is IF I HAD TO tow my car off the Taconic because I was forced to. dont go to this service station. they dont care about you or doing good service."

"SHADY, UNPROFESSIONAL and DISHONEST!!!. Plain and simple. DO NOT ALLOW AAA to use these CROOKS to tow your vehicle. They will accept the AAA tow, give you a time of when you will have it, then bring it back to their yard and say they will tow it to your house or where ever by a specific time and then have no intentions on doing it within that time frame. They will then have the b@ll$ to try and charge you storage fees after you agreed to let them do it a bit later because they had an emergency. And then try and charge you for two days storage when they have had it for less than 24 hours. Then, when you contact them and ask them what the delay is, (the person I spoke with on the phone was very polite) they will say they are so busy and don't expect to get to it until probably the next day or later. NOW they will hold your vehicle hostage refusing to release it, knowing it contained medication for your special needs child . It was going from NY to my home in Boston. Yes, I assume responsibility for not making 110% sure the medications we're with me. I contacted AAA @ 2PM and Needless to say, I received the vehicle the following day at 11pm and it was towed by the nicest guy with so much respect for my situation. MYSTIC TOWING and RECOVERY made it happen for me.. LAKE SERVICE STATION is a company that will try an rob you blind because they know they have you where they want you. Don't trust these guys. If AAA says they will have it towed, ask what company it will be first."
