"Had a long conversation with Skip on the phone about renting for one week as we are coming from another state and going to couple of destinations to ski. I had rented with H&T many years even during the pandemic. I know they wanted reservations and I respect their policies so I called ahead. We had a long chat, talked about the date of our travel and he assured me that weekly rentals are also what they do and just walk in , they do have stock and never once mentioned that that stock can run low ( so maybe possibly reserve and pay for skis in advance, could have avoided the issue , since he claims that he worked there for 38 years he of all should know that a snow storm can happen unexpectedly and if they don’t keep a special stick for weekly rentals then I might be out of luck) Their argument and literally argued with me that I called 3 weeks prior and they ran out unknowingly bc of a snowstorm. I get it. But you don’t tell someone to come walk in and you will be taken care of and then hear that your kid gets skis that are 2 sizes too small. I was told I’ll be paying the same amount for the week as I would for the season but I wasn’t worried about the cost l would have paid the 134$ for the skis happily. I had a choice to leave to the mountains first thing in the morning and rent up at the resort but I chose to give the business to this local place . Last. Time. I. Did. That. And I’ve been a client for years. Also, Skip was a horrible role model on “how” to speak with customers , never even let me finish a sentence and got all excited on the spot which reflects on the young helper who also did nothing but try to prove that they did nothing wrong. I’m sorry if my words hurt their feelings but the truth is that I was told I will be taken care of and at the end I was not. To be told that, “ you got skis didn’t you ? So what’s the problem?!” … is just not good enough ! I can express my suggestions and be respected without feeling like they are doing me a favor by giving ski that’s way too small for my sons age."

"Excellent service and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Was very impressed with the attention to detail during my daughter's boot fitting. After some buckle adjustments and heat molding, we left with a great fitting pair of boots- thank you!"

"This ski shop is the best. Every year we had rentals for kids from them and are always satisfied. What really is beyond my expectation is my ski boots fitting. Their staff Tony helped me try a few boots but eventually not the size for me. Tony was very professional and knowledgeable about the fittings. Afterwards, they tried to get one from the manufacturer but out of stock. Clearly not their fault in any way but they promised to give me a free adjustment and heat mold if I found one somewhere else. Eventually I bought one online and brought it to their store. Tony again helped me extensively adjust the boot to the best level and installed the bindings for my new skis as well. I cannot be more happy about their service. Will keep coming back in the future."

"We have rented ski gear for our kids here the last two years, and this year my husband and I purchased new boots as well. Everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable, patient, and super friendly. They have a good selection and take the time to figure out what's right for each person. Prices are very fair as well, especially for the level of service. Shout out to Jeff, who spent lots of time with fitting the kids for their gear and helping us choose new boots, Tim for helping with the fit process and loading when we picked them up, and Austin for helping us collect everything. We especially appreciate how friendly and welcoming they are for the kids, helping them to get excited for the ski season from their very first experience with the equipment."
