"I went here for the first time this past weekend. I am not a runner. I just want to get walking again. I was on a mission to find sneakers that would fit and support me correctly. Getting older stinks and purchasing sneakers now is more for functionality, comfort and to support my hurting back rather than aesthetics. I was extremely impressed with everything they do. Really top notch. They use a process that makes sense and are knowledgeable about their products. They watch, measure and "diagnose" your walk, gait and feet while informing you of what they see and why they would recommend certain ones versus others. I was brought out three pairs to try and none disappointed. Ironically, I had done some "online" tests on one specific shoe companies website and the sneakers I ended up purchasing are the ones that even they recommended. It made me feel good about the purchase. They even made notes about the other shoes I tried on so we would know which ones I "test walked" in. Everyone was friendly and down to earth. A very comfortbael and non pushy atmosphere. I will be returning and bringing my daughters there for sneakers next. Although they will probably want some clothes to go with them. Will definetly be recommending to others. Thank you! I wish I could remember names, the young man that helped me and the two ladies that were there all were outgoing and helpful."

"Went to Marathon Sports (formerly Soundrunner) last night to get fitted for a proper pair of sneakers. What an experience. They did a scan of my feet, watched the way I walked, and had me try on a bunch of sneakers that were right for my feet. I didn’t even try on the sneakers I originally wanted because come to find out they weren’t right for my foot type. I love the fit of my new sneaks and am excited for my first workout in them. "This place is incredible. If you love running or even walking in comfort with shoes that perfectly fit your feet and needs, you better go here. The service is personal and ‘old school’. Gretchen fitted me so well I had to bring my son back the next week. His feet are short 8.5 and wide 4e. No one has ever put a shoe on him that fit right except Gretchen. They didn’t just have one shoe in his crazy custom size , they had a bunch. I’ve never seen my son smile when trying on shoes but here, his grin wrapped around his face. Thank you."
