"I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Su-style cuisine restaurant, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. As a fan of Jiangnan cuisine, the dishes truly impressed me. Despite the modest exterior, the interior is cozy and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend the drink featured in picture 2– it has become a personal favorite. Additionally, the dessert with Chinese “shanyao” is a must-try. Not overly sweet, it carries a delicate osmanthus fragrance. Fantastic experience overall!!!"
"Great place to celebrate your birthday. They gave my friend a cute red bean bao as service. It was decorated with cute pink petals. I came with close friends visiting from out of state, and they all loved the experience, and the food was delicious, well presented. They even had a quick hibachi show that torched our table with blue flames heating up their signature cheli beef dish, and the vibe was great. Not too loud. The service was excellent. Loved their decor, very modern asian, trendy. Would highly recommend this spot for all occasions."
"Che Li is the type of restaurant where you step inside and it makes you feel like you've entered a whole new country. The interior really embodied the Jiangnan, China area. PROS - Beautiful interior. Dining was an experience and what I imagine it's like visiting some of the restaurants in China. - Reasonably priced. I haven't been to a sit-down restaurant where a Coke was $2 in years. - Tasty food and great presentation. This is the most I think I've ever enjoyed mushrooms mixed with rice. - Pretty decent service. Everyone's English was pretty good and we received service and food pretty quickly. The only exception was coming towards the end of the meal where we struggled to alert someone to bring the check. - Restroom was very clean and they provided paper towels and not just an air dryer which I think everyone agrees is unsanitary. CONS - Hunan-style stir fried sliced beef was very tasty, but the Tien Tsin peppers were overwhelming. It wasn't even because of the spice level because I like spicy food, I just think the amount given was very unnecessary. The image of the dish on the menu definitely had less than what I received. Normally, I wouldn't be so picky about too much of something on my plate, but the need to eat around so many of the peppers became a bit exhausting, as they not only packed a punch, but the excessive amount did not contribute favorably to the texture. - I think the braised rice in particular seemed to be a bit expensive. It was $24 which was close to the price of the beef dish ($25). I'm not sure if the boletus mushrooms are what was causing it to be so expensive, but I still enjoyed it very much. Overall, I would still give my experience here 5/5 stars. Even though there is a lot on the menu I would probably not try because I have a picky American appetite, I'm still interested in visiting again and trying some of their other menu options."
"e came here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Upon arriving we were seated and greeted very promptly. Before getting any food, we decided on a few unique drinks. One being the rice wine with plum, and a green tea lager. The part of the dining area was meant to look like a small village with a stream running through it-- which I thought was pretty interesting. We asked for a few recommendations from our waitress and decided on a few different dishes. The first appetizer that we ordered was some vegetable roll wrapped fried tofu skin. It was a very simple dish, but it was still also delicious. The next thing we ordered were the fried pumpkin bites. We also ordered two entrées. The first being shrimp with glass noodle and the second being crab meatballs in a tofu stew. The glass noodle dish was definitely my favorite thing that we ordered-- although all of them were really good-- the garlic sauce that was used in that dish was amazing! On top of all of the delicious food, the staff was extremely nice! They helped serve the food but also made our anniversary dinner very special. Even the hostess had wished us a happy anniversary on our way out!"
