"I bought a Syrian cookbook about a year ago and many of the recipes called for ingredients that I had never seen in a store (e.g. pomegranate molasses and red pepper paste). Yaranush had everything I wanted. In addition, the store was nicely kept with a wide variety of spices, dried fruit, beans, grains, and prepared foods at reasonable prices. The owners helped me find items (sumac, barberries ) that I had missed, offered cookbook and ingredient recommendations, and even carried my bags to my car. Lastly, the homemade spinach pie and Armenian style baklava were delicious. Highly recommended"
