"I’ve been ordering from here for about 2 years — the food & service have been excellent every time. Varenyk House is definitely the place to go for high quality homemade Ukrainian food. Borscht & short rib varenyky are best I ever had. But having tried most of the menu, I can honestly say it’s all delicious!"
"Varenyk House has been a go-to lunch spot for me since they opened. The prepared food is delicious and they also have a small butcher counter for chicken, pork, sausage and fish. The service is super friendly and happy to explain anything I'm not familiar with and even give samples. The lunch special is a very generous serving, I can usually make two meals from it. All of the namesake Varenyk dumplings are delicious, you can't go wrong, but the short-rib is a stand out. All the soups are great and they make my favorite borscht in the neighborhood! They also have dessert! They do it all, I love Varenyk House."
"I ordered the short rib and potato with bacon varenyky. They were both so delicious! The borsht and olivye salad was exactly how my grandma used to make it. I will be coming back here to try the rest of the menu. They also have a store inside where they sell a lot of the tradional ukranian foods and I got really good pickles. Service was extremely nice."
"Varenyk House is a great place to get Ukrainian food. I recently ordered dumplings and blintzes for a celebratory gathering, and was very impressed with the food and service. They were very helpful in advising me on how much food to order for the number of guests I had, and everything was ready on time and piping hot. The varenyky and blintzes were all delicious, with a variety of fillings to choose from. I would definitely recommend Varenyk House to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Ukrainian meal. I'll be back for more soon!"
