"As a new member my first visit experience was not impressive. It was very similar to BJ's except for fine jewelries and a cafe/fast food with eating areas. I was especially annoyed by their packing system. You're not allowed to pack your items until you exit the first door after been checked by the staff. So the packing has to be done outside in brutal cold weather. I'm not sure if I'll return to Sam's."

"Gas lines are so slow it takes forever to get gas here. Sam's Cafe is terrible. They either don't have stuff ready or run out of food well before they close. I was told they ran out of hot dogs 45 minutes before they close and when I complained the guy said it would take 30 minutes for him to make me a hot dog???? No thanks!!! It takes longer to leave than it does to check out because they only have 2 people that stand at the exit and they check every single item on your receipt as if you are a criminal. A terrible shopping experience every time I go there. If it wasn't for how close it was and the prices, I would cancel my membership. Whoever the Manager is here, they should be fired."

"This is my first time to Sam's club. I always go to Costco. So, I am interested in seeing what difference they might have. The one I visit on US 1, Edison seems to be a little bigger than Costco 1 mile away from it. I noticed that they carry different brands from Costco. I guess it might be that Sam's is Wal-Mart series. So they have more suppliers... One thing that Sam's has and Costco doesn't is the App checkout. This did impress me a lot, especially for shopping at Edison on Sunday..... Wow...."
