"I shop Big Y often. I went in at 415 and went to get slices at the pizza shop. There were literally 4 people who wanted slices as well as myself needing 5. They had 0 slices of any pizza. I went on to do some shopping for 45 mins and returned to find still no pizza in a Friday 4-5pm. I sat at deli for 10mins to get lunch meat and watch at least 10 other people ask for pizza slices and when they were coming out. They said we are making other pizzas for customers. Talk about alot of lost money. NOT EVEN 1 CHEESE FOR OVER AN HOUR. must have been 50 people they turned down. Really lame and DISAPPOINTING for many customers"
"Big Y needs to learn how to train cashiers so they know how to do the job . Maybe then issues won’t come up and you have to get stuck talking to the manager at the Manchester location, because if you get stuck talking to her.. warning: she is NOT helpful in finding a reasonable solution to your problem and she’s kind of rude in the way she talks. A simple problem that could have easily been solved made a life long customer walk out and want to never return."
"The variety of food items including cold salads and bakery is a wide range of select items. But the prices are a bit too high for the quantity offered. We bought a ready chocolate cake from the bakery, it looked really appealing but lacked in the basic moist and easy to slice texture and was also a little too sweet (considering it was a dark chocolate cake). Cost to size ratio was also a little on the higher end. But would still like to try other flavors they have to offer although its not going to be quite friendly on the pocket!"
