CVS Pharmacy 255 Pond Path, Centereach, NY 11720

"I ordered my refill and used the insurance I had used only a month before. They said that there was a problem with my insurance and that they would need to get another prescription from my doctor. They promised that they would text or call when my prescription was ready. I had two refills left on my prescription. It took four days and they did not call or text me--I had to come in or call them. The first time, it wasn't ready and then I gave it a few more days. They did not get two refills from my doctor--just one. Now I guess I have to try to get a doctor's appointment to get the now missing refill that was originally prescribed. During this process, the staff acted like I was inconveniencing them and they shamed me in front of other customers. They were almost abusive to be honest. Shocked this is a major pharmacy in a Target in a busy suburban area."

"I am an R,N. for greater than 38 years at Stony Brook Medical Center. We don't close for lunch. We are there 24/7. I don't expect the pharmacy to be there 24 hours a day but closing for lunch for an hour as opposed to staggering lunches seems counterproductive and not particularly customer friendly. However...I love, love, love my CVS staff at Pond Path, South Setauket. They are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond."
