"This was our 1st Gate 1 tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Karen was fantastic as well as well as our city guide in Bogota and Yunty in both Medellin and Manizales. The itinerary was great and we really saw Colombia. Very good mix of free time and touring."

"My partner and I went on a Gate 1 independent tour to Milan over Thanksgiving. We booked one of the optional day tours going to Lake Como. Day of, we show up to the meeting spot listed on our travel documents at the correct time. No tour guide/company ever showed. Called the emergency Gate 1 line and the agent could not get a hold of anyone from the third party company they used either. He told us to save our receipts and get back in touch when we returned from our trip. We did just that. Gate 1 has been less than helpful about providing us with a refund for the day trip we never went on. They say they need to conduct an “investigation”, but I’ve already provided them with photo proof that we were at the meet up spot at the correct time. I have video proof as well. My next step is to file a dispute with my bank, as there is no reason it should take this long for Gate 1 to find a solution. Their issue with the third party they contracted to conduct the tour is not my problem, but Gate 1 is now making it my problem by withhold my payment. Incredibly disappointed by their customer service."

"Today my wife and I return to the US after a wonderful 17 day tour with Gate 1 through Chile, Argentina and Brazil, which included several days in the Patagonia region. We greatly enjoyed arrangements by Gate 1 in the region, and our accommodations and site visits. We especially appreciate our Program Tour Guide, Soledad Aspe; she was outstanding throughout the 17 days. She speaks knowledgeably and effectively. She is very much client focused and has an excellent personality. Country and site guides were great. Romina, our Argentina country guide, stands out. Her knowledge of the area and pleasant ability to guide us were outstanding. I should note that our international travel to South America and back to the States was circuitous and unnecessarily long and tiring from our perspective. Our travel arrangements were handled by Gate 1. It appears to us that Gate 1 and or the airlines could be more attentive to the convenience of their customers' in airline routing. Thank you, again, Gate 1 and Soledad. We are looking forward to our next Gate 1 tour in January, 2024."

"Expectations exceeded!! This was our first Gate 1. My parents have been on many Gate 1 tours and urged us to travel with them and we are so glad we did. We booked the 8 day Holland and Paris tour. Our guide, Aryan, was incredible! He went out of his way constantly to make sure everyone was accounted for and comfortable. He even made additional stops and added extra mini tours and excursions throughout our trip where time allowed. He was very knowledgeable and funny. The trip itself was outstanding. We were nervous about how everything is coordinated and organized but we truly just showed up and everything was done for us. It felt so nice to have the anxiety of planning and commuting taken off our plate. I know for a fact we would not have gotten as full and in depth of an experience traveling on our own. We will always travel with Gate 1 for any first time country trip. We will remember this trip forever!"

"My best friend and I took an 8 day your of England and Scotland 2weeks ago ...I have to say it was the most organized and well handled trip I've ever been on. The hotel choices were quite excellent and had wonderful full English breakfasts with coffee too. Our tour guide Jackie was ever so kind, organized, well-versed, full of recommendations and good advice. She always had a drawn out map for us to follow with interesting points of interest to see during our free time. She remembered all of our names and made a point to engage us all with each other. I simply loooooove her!!!! God bless her! I guess if I had to say anything not-so-glowing, it would simply be that there was not enough time... Everything left us wanting more, which I intend on doing... More."
