Utica-Rome Speedway

"We went to see the MONSTER TRUCKZ show, seating was grandstand style, older stands, could uses a facelife considering it is attached to the Casino. The restroom was clean at 12:42pm when we arrived. There was quite a mess in the womens rest room about an hour into the show, dirty diapers thrown on the floor, handsoap, toilet paper & paper towels we're empty. By the end of the show it was a hard pass on the womens restroom... Do better Vernon Downs we're paying CRAZY money to attend events at your place!!!"

"The Monster Truckz show was here over the weekend. We were so excited for this event and ended up sadly disappointed. Before we went in we bought my daughter a T-shirt and a toy for $50! We wanted to grab a drink before getting to our seats but quickly found out that they don't serve alcohol at this event at all, even though the venue has a liquor license. The show was supposed to start at 7. They started at 7:15 and the monster trucks went first for about 10 minutes then the dirt bikes came out. Normally there are a lot of them but there were only 2 and one of them didn't do any tricks. He was clearly new to riding and very inexperienced. After a half hour of basically a whole lot of nothing, they took a 30 minute intermission!! They came back out at 8:15 and did the human cannon ball and a few more tricks from the dirt bikes. We ended up leaving because the trucks barely did anything. They charged for parking which you never have to pay when you come to races so why charge for this?! Especially when it was as bad as it was. Wayyyyy overpriced event for what it was. We will stick to the actual Monster Trucks that come to the oncenter in Syracuse. This was such a disappointment to the kids and adults! The venue is run down and bleachers are about to fall down. Overall, terrible!"

"There for monster truck show. Was good. But poster shows 6 trucks. And only 4 were running. It is what it is. Was shocked to discover that the speedway was charging $20 a vehicle for parking. Glad that don't happen during the races. Once inside for the show. There was nothing free about the pit party. Anything or everything cost money. Even the bounce houses were $7 a kid ticket. Only reason 4 stars is posted. Is because the kid had fun. And that's all that matters. Besides. Always good racing there as well."

"Great racing venue! Good food. Good service. Great racing! The place is looking a little old these days but is operated as a top notch facility in every facet. Thoroughly satisfied with the experience and racing action!"

"If you are in the area on a summer Friday night try something different. Going to the races here is a great time and I believe it rates as a piece of Americana. There are a few top notch elite drivers ( one drives on the nascar truck series) and the sheer speed of the modifieds is exhilarating. For the hours of entertainment 13 dollars is a bargain and I believe children are less. Concessions are reasonable, last week I enjoyed an outstanding sausage onion and pepper for only 5 dollars. Everyone should experience this even if only once. I have to believe you will leave there with something good to remember, even if it's just 5-10 year old boys standing straight with their hands over their hearts during the national anthem. I always love to see that."
