"Came to celebrate my birthday with 9 friends, and service was absolutely horrible. Our server forgot about us, to the point where we were seated for over an hour and haven’t even put in all of our drink orders yet. I don’t know if it’s cause we’re younger than their normal clientele, but if we’re buying $200+ bottles of wine and spending well over $150 per person, I expect to not have to call the main line asking where our server disappeared to. Out of the 4 or so times I’ve dined here, this was the worst experience by far, but the food was a 5/5 all day."

"Excellent steak tartar. One of the best. Very nice cocktails. I always get a black and blue ny strip and they cooked it perfectly. Very rare in the center and a nice char on the outside."

"We were so excited to finally give Washington prime a try after seeing all the great reviews. We were saddened to find out since the pandemic they no longer do happy hour, which we were looking forward to. The atmosphere was nice and for apps we absolutely loved the steak tartare- it was the best we’ve ever had. For dinner we ordered the porter house for 2 and honestly we were pretty let down. It was really nothing special and certainly over priced. You can get an amazing one down the road at Match for $30 cheaper, and 20 oz more (plus it will come with 2 generous sides!). We left hungry on a nearly $200 bill (and didn’t even have drinks!) I don’t see us going back anytime soon but if we do it would be just for some apps or something more low key."

"One of the first places I visited when we moved to Norwalk. In fact, this is where we celebrated the closing of our new home. The dishes here are absolutely amazing! Every meal from appetizers to dessert will feed your soul. When I want to indulge this is where I go."
