"This place never disappoints. Every time me and my wife goes to the Capitol theater, we stop by Salsa Picante for dinner. The staff are always very attentive and the food always delicious. I personally love micheladas and the one here is just perfect in my opinion, my wife loves the spicy margarita they make. We always try something different in the menu, and so far everything tasted very good and authentic. Highly recommended!!!"

"This place is da bomb - soooo good and so yummy. Kinda expensive for Mexican food but I guess u get what you pay for. Service was great and we came on a Friday night at 9 and the restaurant was pretty cleared out. Lengua taco was the best out of the 6 tacos we had. Entrees were all around $20."

"Yeah, this place was just…… not good. The only thing tasty was the fountain soda. I ordered the Al pastor enchiladas and had to ask the waiter if i got the right dish. From the look of it, I thought it was going to be very good. But I was deceived. The meat was not Al pastor at all and it just tasted like they tried to mix way to many strong flavors together that just didn’t go well together. Oh! And then I asked for some hot sauce and got what tasted like sofrito in a jar! Never again…."

"So I hope the owner is reading this review. Very seldom do I rate a place low.... just because. However, when you have rude and disrespectful staff waiting on you, it's unacceptable. I arrived at 3pm and no one was there, I mean no one. I had to ask the waitress if they were open as she was busy on her phone. I proceeded to order Guacamole and chips while I waited for a business partner. As it came for the waitress to leave she hands me the bill, even though I was still drinking and eating. I though it was rude in many ways, the person I was with thought I was in a rush and i was really upset about that. It was a job with a client I was trying to land. I made a comment to other wait staff that had just checked in; I guess you guys want me to leave I stated. Well, the original waitress came back and asked if there was a problem and if I had an issue.... I said an issue, absolutely... you are rude and there's no one here... why are you rushing me to leave..I am not done... She took such a terrible attitude. Notice to owner..... get rid of your staff like that... I will not be coming back... furthermore, look at my profile in Google.... you never know whom you are serving. If I could give you zero stars for the way your staff treated me yesterday, I would!. Cheer up and lighten up... train your staff!"

"Always so delicious. The food is amazing. Prices seem to be quite reasonable for the level of food they are producing. The service seemed to be on point and our food came out in a very timely manner. Every time we go it seems difficult flagging down the waiter to get our check when we want to leave but other than this, no complaints. We definitely keep going back. The margaritas are very tasty as well."
