"Red Lobster on Silas Dean in Rocky Hill provides a nice meal. Why the good folks at Red Lobster insist on making their restaurants so oppressively dark remains a mystery to me. Even on a sunny day at lunch time, it was pretty dark inside, although we did not sit by the window. Raw oysters were nice. All lobsters are the 1.25 pounders. Nothing larger. Food prepared well and presented nicely. Not a huge fan of the on-table do-it-yourself checkout process, for which you must provide an email to get a receipt. I'll probably be back to enjoy a lobster from time to time."
"Excellent experience! Brit at the bar took wonderful care of us. Had the lobster tails, salmon and shrimp combo. The broccoli it came with was fresh and buttery. The loaded baked potato came with generous amounts of butter, cheese, sour cream and bacon. Had the overboard brownie dessert which was perfect with vanilla ice cream, hot brownies and chocolate sauce."
