"I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend! This was my first visit to Salon 421 and I don’t know if I had any expectations but if I did they were far exceeded. Thank you to Robert who was great and did an amazing job with the color and brought my vision and dreams of fun rainbow mermaid hair to life, the result was even better than I imagined. The cut was also perfect. Thank you Robert!"

"Today my hair was colored twice, if I am not wrong, and my scalp is now on fire and burning. I have had to douse it with coconut oil to calm it down. I had questioned whether the color was red as I saw red emerging, and then I got another color rinse. My skin color is brown and I do not like being called Madam for no reason either. I was very polite and well behaved. Its an obligation to be courteous to paying clients. I have just washed my hair thoroughly - and it's never been like this ever before. Like ropes of coir. Something very evil was done to my hair. I am shocked at your hate of me Maggie. Who are you? What do you know about me? I came into the store for the first time today as it was recommended by a Tracy Tellian. What was the second coloring agent you used? You called it a toner and poured a bottle down my hair? Does it cause cancer? Does it do damage internally to the hair root system? Or, does it go beyond the roots and penetrates even further into layers of the brain? Does it have any effect on the melanin in my scalp? My hair has changed in texture, shape and I have lost clumps. Is this a wet experiment? You were yelling hard head, hard head!"

"Maggie is amazing! I am VERY VERY picky and always nervous when getting my hair cut. My daughter has gone to Maggie for years and kept telling me to try her so I finally did and I am so happy. She really listened to what I wanted and cut my hair exactly the way I asked her to. My layers came out beautiful. If you’re looking for a new stylist or looking to change from the one you currently have I would definitely give her a try."

"Not very friendly staff that works there. I got my haircut and color done by Blair. She did a good job but the color I wanted was not even close to what I got-you couldn't even tell my hair was colored. After being there for 1.5 hours I was asked if I wanted anything to drink, customers that came in after me were asked right away. I was wondering if maybe because I had a groupon I was treated different?I think they should improve their customer service quality because that is what mainly people look for when they enter a salon. You want to feel comfortable especially if you're gonna be there for 3 hours like I was!"

"10/12/2018 I came to this salon with a groupon. I was worried they would treat me as a groupon customer ("less than")...as some salons do. NOT the case here. They were excellent and never once tried to up-sell me. I loved my stylist (Blair) and the owner even came over to help choose a good color for me. Also, my groupon was for one color and they did a blend without charging me. I was really impressed. My hair came out gorgeous! A little darker than I envisioned it but I think it actually suits me better. 5 stars! Definitely try this place out!"
