"Sick spot for shows. Very fast security and ushers. Would definitely see a show here again!"

"I had heard stories about this place having a certain vibe. I finally got there and it was no joke. The sound was great and there are no bad spots. The first night I was up in the very back of the balcony, and it still somehow felt like you were still right there with the artist. An intimate feeling while being in the balcony isn't something I've experienced often. The second night on the floor was equally amazing but for other reasons. Just a cool environment with solid acoustics and a really pleasant vibe. I'll be going back for sure."

"It was a great venue to watch a concert. The venue was late in letting us all in for the concert. There were a lot of security and they were very thorough in searching everyone but, it seems that we were waiting on the security to get ready for the event and that's what the delay was all about."

"I love the Capitol theater. Despite it's compact and tall design, it can host 1,800 people, enough to host high level bands. Even seats in the balcony are close to the stage, making it possible to see the performers with ease. It's cozy, good acoustics, excellent dynamic illumination, easy to get in and out. A large MTA commuter parking makes it easy to park nearby for free, just 5 minutes walk. Last time I was here in October 2022 Jeff Beck did one of his last (beautiful) concerts here. This time it was ZZTop, another memorable concert of a band close to my heart. Highly recommended!"

"We recently went to a concert at the capitol theatre and had a really good night! Getting in was really quick and easy. The venue itself was small but really pretty. It’s capacity is about 1800 people I think it said so it was definitely a different concert experience. I’ve been to some smaller venues and was pleasantly surprised that my feet didn’t stick to the floor the whole night. The drink pricing was also more reasonable than other venues I’ve been to. They had some food choices such as popcorn and waffles!? I had already eaten so I didn’t get any food. I got a modelo to drink and it was really bad. Usually I like it a lot and this was really sour/bitter tasting. Also something I think is important is that I guess it has some sort of AC in it but it wasn’t very cold inside. It was mid 90s outside so I wasn’t sure if I should wear shorts/pants if the ac was cranked or not. I went with shorts and was so glad I did because I was quite warm inside. Also, not sure if this was artist preference or theater but they were pretty strict about not recording the show on your phones."
