The owner and landlord have been nothing but good to me since the beginning I’ve lived here over 8 years I believe now. They are extremely patient and kind. "I have quite a history with this place. These units initially were individually owned condos when the property was first opened in 1967 by a joint venture of 3 physicians. They all have their own private front and back entrance. The Oak River Management company does a great job maintaining the grounds. The units are a little dated, but the management has been and are continuing to make upgrades as time goes on. Tara the Leasing Manager and Steve the owner are extremely accommodating and are quick and efficient with addressing any concerns (and that’s saying something as I’m extremely meticulous about my living space). It is really quiet and in a woodsy area /country setting but you are also very close to all necessities. It really feels like home. I know many folks who have lived here before me and have nothing but good things to say about this place. Many of the current tenants have been living here for decades. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice affordable place to live in a quiet and safe area. For the value, you can’t beat it. ***These other reviews which state they are losing their security deposit are a little distorted. If you maintain the unit well and you return it in the condition it was initially presented, you will receive 100% of your security deposit back guaranteed (that doesn’t include the steam clean)***"

"If you like nazi style dictatorship, then this is place for you. If you think not being allowed to have a grill is acceptable then there are apartments available.if you like being told that heat is included, yet they install thermostats that always tell you it's warmer than 72°. coincidently that's the cut off mark for the heat actually turning on. then this is the place for you. In the end if you enjoy being lied to about upgrades, if you enjoy rent increases, nazi style dictatorship, and if you want a grill this is not the place for you. Yea I'm mad about it, what's next can't hang a American flag? Update: I just come home after an afternoon. Outside. Slipped into my door is a bill for a lock out fee. $25 dollars for a guy who lives in the same complex to come and open my door. This was also 6-8 weeks after it had happened. update: i have now moved out. 30 days after i left then send me a check for $50 of my $1200 security deposit. they charged me about $400 for replacing the rugs, which i have no problem with. they also charged me about $700 dollars in cleaning fees, which my wife and i cleaned thouroghly. they charged me for a broken window in my bathroom, that i reported to them 2 months before i left. i did not break it nor do i know how it happened. when i told them they said they would replace it and i wouldnt be charged. when i asked them if they would replace it a month later, they told me they would replace it when i left and not charge me. they charged me for replacing a kitchen tile, when they actually replaced the whole floor, like they have been doing with every vacant apt. point being if you currently live there and are leaving DO NOT PAY YOUR LAST MONTHS RENT. if you are looking. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere."
