"You know Fr I must I described extremely to the point of what I wanted on my hair done everything I want they have picture I know that you can never look like that person that's not what I wanted to do I want my hair to be that color and I had told the girl and I specifically did not want red in my hair. She told me it would not have red in my hair and I got home and the next day I had to take a shower cuz my hair was so badly itchy and the color was all over my face. I couldn't take it so I still have a rash around the whole top of my hair line and then I called them and I said to the owners daughter what's going on and what she told me was what would you like us to do they did not do anything for me or try and even fix it. The girl cuts my hair for 25-30 minutes and she didn't even give me the haircut that we had just discussed . All she did was trim the sides of m y hair. I do not recommend this place to anyone there is no way I would ever tell anybody to ever go there and get anything done.. all they care about is taking your credit card and holding it in case you don't show up for the appointment they take half of the money of the bill. That was the right there was nobody in there."

"Tori and her team are amazing! She did my and my bridesmaids makeup for our wedding in October and she masterfully balanced natural and bridal makeup. I could t have been happier with how it came out and it lasted all day! She and her team were pleasures to get ready with! Highly recommend her!"

"Debbie Schadenand her daughter Victoria, are passionate about making their customers feel transported to a dreamlike place where you are pampered and relaxed. Late today when I sat on their outdoor patio getting my pedicure, I could not believe my good fortune of feeling the early evening breeze while looking out on their beautiful garden, reclining in a wicker chair heaped with soft cushions. Everyone working there had big genuine smiles and certainly felt the same as me. Thank you Special Effects."

"We had a lovely experience at Special Effects. There were 5 of us. 2 had manicures, 2 had pedicures and 1 neck and shoulder massage. The therapists were lovely and talented. Only recommendation would be to have massage in a more separate/ quiet space. We followed up with a beautiful and delicious tea room event in the quaint and charming room. Delicious homemade delicacies and a great selection of teas. Overall wonderful treat !"
