"Extremely exploitive and uncaring. Everyone is overworked and underpaid. They've denied us multiple times when we request to fix the plethora of broken equipment. We have been requesting for MONTHS to fix broken and unusable runs for our boarding facility. The prices are insane yet we're lucky if we can get a 24 cent raise. We have lost clients because of the ridiculous pricing. It is devastating to see clients leave that have been with us for YEARS, the worst part is not being able to fix the problem. I dont blame a single client who chooses to find a new vet, evey employee at our clinic pours their heart into their job but there is only so much we can do, we arent even allowed to fix essentiall equipment because it might require petvet to distribute the profit to their clinics. That extra money goes directly to corporate while the employees still make less than a drive thru worker. Some of my coworkers have worked at our clinic for over +7 years and still get paid the same amount as someone who just started.my best advice to anyone thinking about selling their clinic to petvet is DO NOT DO IT. They promise to allow the clinic to function like normal without breathing down your neck, and they may follow through with that promise for a few years, but they will absolutely turn against you. Hr couldn't care less about employees eithier, no one in corporate values anyone below regional management."

"This company owns the Emergency Vet in my town. They run under the guise of loving and caring for animals but they really are is a Con Mans box to bleed heartsick owners dry on the weekends in their so called Emergency Rooms. I took my dog in over the weekend and they refused to look at him without running certain tests that I said were not the issue. by the time they ran a fecal which wasn't expensive, I'd already racked up almost 1k in bills. They sent my dog home saying he was fine. Next morning he was dying. I took my dog back to the vet only to be told upon walking in that they wouldn't see him and take him elsewhere. I said he was dying and they looked right at me and said I DONT CARE........ You're right. They already got almost 1k out of me. What did they care? I lost my baby. He was 4 and didn't need to die. I lost my best friend and had to come home and tell my kids that he was gone. All because they "DIDNT CARE". This practice needs to be shut down. There need to be laws in place to keep practices like this from operating and robbing a person blind. They are nothing more than a scam."

"Probably the worst corporate vet I have ever had to work under. They are CONSTANTLY raising prices, but never have enough to give their staff proper raises. Sometimes we go to lunch and come back and the prices have gone up, and WE are left to explain it to angry clients while the executives enjoy their millions of dollars. Their benefits package is honestly more expensive than just getting it elsewhere and takes out most of your paycheck. This company has burned me out so much that I’m leaving vet med altogether."

"Having dealt with one of your facility’s I have found they are negligent in providing clear information to their clients, and freezing share information about clients to all other clients. They also will not provide contact information to reach the main company to speak to them. Ethics are an obvious issue here that have come up multiple times now. It appears they do not feel very accountable to the community since they are no longer locally owned."
