Cortland Dental

"Cortland Dental has been wonderful at taking care of my friends who have recently moved to the country. They have not had dental care in years, and most other dentists that take MassHealth had wait lists so long you couldn't even join them. Cortland had appointments within a few months, and has scheduled lots of follow-up work in a very timely way. All the doctors and other staff are extremely nice, helping us navigate the insurance process and all the various appointments with different types of dental work. In particular, Dr. Laila Uddin and assistant Shalymar Rivera recently went above and beyond, helping rebuild some very damaged teeth to looking brand new, it was incredible! And on the same day we came in for other cavity work! Truly a gift to this teen who has been struggling for years. My one caveat is that it's very busy (which is understandable since they are serving so many in the community) so it usually takes 2 or 3 times longer than I expect to get through the appointment. So just plan some space in your schedule, and you will be very happy. These people really take care of us!"

"Front staff amazing & Selena in the back amazing!!! THE BUILDING in the FRONT HAS NO HEAT! It’s extremely freezing my hands literally are frozen. It’s inhumane to have people working in these temps! The front desk ladies are using blankets, electrical heaters but the breakers click off and HAND WARMERS!!! Everyone is complaining of the cold in the front!"

"Took my kids here yesterday, and never going back. First off, a community dentist, no privacy at all. They wanted to extract my daughters baby tooth. They told me my son had 8 cavities, then told my wife he had 12. They are shady, and just want to use people to get money from your insurance company. I wouldn't trust them with your mouth, even if you needed all four of your wisdom teeth taking out. They need to be reported, because they are committing malpractice by doing unnecessary surgery on children."

"Had an 8am appointment and wasn’t called back until 8:25. Then I sat in the back for a half hour before even being seen. All of the staff (besides the front end staff) were horribly rude. It took nearly 2 hours for a simple standard cleaning. We won’t be coming back."

"The appointment for my son was @ one hour and they called him in 2 hours later. They charged me for a dental cleaning for my son even though this is covered by medical insurance. The customer service staff at the front desk and even billin's department are rude and inept. Two months trying to solve the problem and the customer service staff at the front desk blames billin's department, the billing department blames another department and so we spend two months with everyone blaming everyone but none really helping to solve the problem. When asking for supervisor the answer is they can't give you a phone number or name. It's really frustrating, my best advice to you is take your kids somewhere else."
