Courtyard by Marriott Rye

"Not happy! We called the night before and the morning of to make sure we wouldn't be late and our room is not ready and it is well after check in time!! Lorbie Salvador is the manager and her staff did not make very much effort to accommodate us for the wedding we were going to be late for! Getting some questionable looks from the staff I dealt with last night. I explained how it was not good that I had to get to the wedding so late and that we won't be checking out of our room until later, they said ok we'll make this one time exception. I told them I am giving you the courtesy so you have a heads up for the next people. They closed the coffee shop at 10am but didn't tell us we could still get coffee and tea. There room keys won't work now! Very unhappy with the people at the front desk. Everyone else on the staff are very friendly and pleasant! The rooms are clean and spacious."

"The courtyard by Marriott was conveniently located by the wedding venue that I attended The rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfortable. We checked in very late due to our wedding but the service was perfect. Just a little bit pricey for a one night."

"We had a three night stay in September for a family gathering. The hotel updates are nice. The room was clean lobby was spacious and clean. Staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. We did have a problem with the door lock not working and were supposed to have had it fix the first day, but it never was fixed. It was difficult to unlock and open, and impossible for me being wheelchair-bound to open up myself. We needed a handicap room and the room we received was too small for a wheelchair to move around. The bathroom was wonderful. Easy to maneuver and get around, but the rest of the room was impossible. The room and hotel appear to be set up for the business traveler. The room had one chair to sit in, a desk with a rolling chair, a small open closet to hang a few clothes in, and no drawers to speak of. We ate some meals in the room and had to sit with the food on our laps, which was really uncomfortable. We do go to see family from time to time, and although staff was friendly, and the staff is nice, we will look elsewhere for accommodation, as it does not fit our needs."

"Some rust in the shower which had a thin shower curtain and some of the lighting in the room wasn't great, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the fitness room had a full set of dumbbells up to 50lbs with a sturdy adjustable bench and several cardio machines. The pool also looked well maintained. The staff was very friendly. A small bar/coffee shop that stayed open late when there was a large group of guests. Many good restaurants nearby though. An EV charger is available on the adjacent Marriott property."

"Not bad at all. Disappointed in the comfort of the bed. I travel a lot and sleep so well away from home, in hotels. Did not get a wink of sleep as the bed was hard as a rock. Otherwise it was lovely. Clean. Nicely decorated. Service was great. Very accommodating. Friendly."
