"Dr. Mao is professional, kind and gentle/understanding with my 8 year old daughter who is always very anxious about going to the dentist. We have been coming here since my daughter was 6. She needed a tooth extraction as well as several fillings and my daughter had to go under general anesthesia for the procedure. I was soooo scared and anxious about it but was so happy that I chose Dr. Mao to do the procedure. It went very well, and she was so great about reassuring me that everything was going to be ok. The procedure went smoothly and I was very relieved. My only complaint was that I felt we were rushed out of her office after my daughter woke up from the general anesthesia. I do feel that they should have given us more time in another room (like a recovery room) for my daughter to adjust to waking up from the anesthesia. My daughter was upset and very disoriented, and we were ushered out after about 15 minutes or so after she was awake. Regardless, we went back and our experiences have always been positive. Her staff have always made us feel at ease about our visits as my daughter gets really nervous going to the dentist. With time though, my daughter has gotten much better and I truly feel that is due to the amazing staff as well as Dr. Mao. I am really happy we found a sensor that we feel comfortable with."
