"I just wanted to reach out to West Hill and thank Dr. Preston and her team for such an amazing dental experience today. Kim and Monica were very good at explaining to me my insurance benefits. Letting me know what I had left in benefit and what my copay was going to be before I left the office. It wasn’t one of those corporate feeling places, all sterile and what not. There was laughter in the air and the vibe was truly contagious. Great job everyone and thanks again for helping me with my little tooth problem. Cheers!"

"My husband has been going here for many years; myself and my daughter have only recently started going here. I have had many condescending conversations with the secretary Kim. My complaint is that when I called to discuss the bill Kim was aggressive, condescending and said it is not my job. Due to how she spoke to me I was upset and I told my husband. He did try to get a hold of the dentist but instead Kim called me again. She was very agitated and now told me she is the financial person. I had her on speaker phone in my car and I could not let her degrade me in front of my daughter. Clearly looking at other Google reviews, other people have mentioned Kim’s attitude, and that is why myself and my family will no longer be going here. Edited--Thank you for responding would have liked to resolve the issue (a phone conversation would have been better). From one medical professional to another I am not sure why you keep Kim on your staff."

"I happened to be traveling out of town to meet up with some friends in CT and lost my temporary crown my dentist placed on my tooth last week. It was super sensitive and I called to talk with anyone that would be willing to help me. Kim and I think her name was Monica came through and hooked me up with a quick meeting with Dr. Hemphill and he was able to craft a beautiful temporary that has since stayed on through the rest of the weekend. Thank you all for your help! The doc was great, Kim was amazing for helping to get me in last Thursday and I was able to enjoy the rest of my week in Connecticut."

"I’ve been going to West Hill Family dental for close to 15 years, back when it was owned by Dr. Lawrence, and my wife and daughter started to go there as well. My hygienist Melissa is phenomenal, sweet and caring, and always goes above and beyond. The office has once very big problem and her name is Kim. To be blunt, Kim is the most obnoxious and rude secretary I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She has been rude to me about the type of insurance I had in the past, left me in my car waiting during Covid for her to let me in the door while she forgot about me and went home. Anytime I have dealt with Kim on the phone she is always been rude, to the point one time I simply canceled my appointment and didn’t come back for another 6 months because I was so irritated with her. The final straw was when she was so rude to my wife twice on the phone because Kim had yet another issue with my insurance and tried to bill us saying we are out of network. What dental office doesn’t accept United Healthcare? Berating my wife and calling her honey is ridiculous and so unprofessional. Plus trying to bill us for an oral exam which is supposed to be done by the dentist only and he wasn’t even there. Sounds like fraud to me. Not to mention there are also other reviews saying Kim is rude too on Google so guess we have a pattern here. I then ask to speak to Dr. Hemphill and he never responded to me. I’m done with this place. Honestly I don’t wanna see Dr. Hemphill or whoever responds to these reviews to try and dispute my review, I want to see him man up and call me like I asked. I feel that I’m deserving of that after 15 years."
