"Dr. Chang walked in, looked at the x-rays for 3s and told me which teeth we would be extracting because “gosh, this is so bad. Your teeth are so bad”. And he left. I’ve periodontitis. Nobody took the time to explain what my issue was. Nobody asked me how I was feeling. Matter of fact, I didn’t get the chance to say one word. Nobody sat down to talk about would be the plan after extracting so many teeth. I was 26. I left shaking and in tears. Fast forward, I found another place, started treatment and if you’re wondering, nope, I haven’t extracted one single tooth. They are doing really well! The dental assistant was a sweetheart and the only reason this wasn’t the most awful office I’ve ever been. I wish I knew her name for a shout-out."
