"picked up my ring ( very sentimental, left to me from my late mother) it was there to get the claws replaced around a garnet. got out to my car after collecting and noticed the garnet in a plastic bag stapled to the paper bag with a note saying " garnet fell apart on removing. always a risk with softer stones" problem is, no one warned me this was a risk in replacing a claw. no one phoned me to tell me it broke. no one told me when I picked up the ring. went back in to question it( was visibility upset) and felt totally unheard and no offer for solution. I was told " your lucky it didn't get swept up with the rubbish on the jeweler's floor" and "at least you still have her gold" what a horrible thing to say when they knew my mum had passed away!! They lady is the rudest person I have met in a business. Really upset and feel totally let down. terrible communication. the ring means so much to me and now it is a totally different ring to me."
